Follow the instructions below for a Nick-Jr.-themed countdown calendar.<\/p>\n

What You’ll Need
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

24 sliding paper boxes, available at your local craft store (substitute matchboxes)<\/span>
\n<\/span>Hot glue
\n<\/span>Double-sided mounting adhesive sheets<\/span>
\n<\/span>Mini white pom-poms
\n<\/span>Nick Jr. gift wrap (print below!)<\/span>
\n<\/span>Printer paper<\/span>
\n<\/span>Teal paper
\n<\/span>Scissors or craft knife
\n<\/span>Cardboard <\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

How to Make<\/strong><\/p>\n

Step One:\u00a0<\/strong>Glue a row of four boxes side by side using a hot glue gun.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step Two:\u00a0<\/strong>Continue gluing, row by row, until you have a stack four boxes wide by six boxes tall, a total of 24 boxes. Make sure that all boxes are aligned and stacked neatly!<\/span><\/p>\n

Step Three: <\/strong>Trace and cut one box front onto a sheet of paper. This will serve as your box front template!<\/span><\/p>\n

Step Four:<\/strong>\u00a0Adhere one mounting adhesive sheet to back of a teal sheet of paper and use your box front template to cut 24 box front covers using scissors or a craft knife.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step Five:\u00a0<\/strong>Remove paper backing and adhere teal paper to box fronts.\u00a0<\/span>Hot glue a mini pom-pom on center of each box front.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step Six: <\/strong>Make the back of the calendar:\u00a0Cut a piece of cardboard the size of the stacked boxes. Cover cardboard with teal paper using a mounting adhesive sheet. Hot glue cardboard to back, outside edge of stacked boxes. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step Seven:\u00a0<\/strong>Print wrapping paper\u00a0template and put a mounting adhesive sheet on the back of color of your choice. Trim if necessary. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step Eight:\u00a0<\/strong>Peel adhesive\u00a0and stick\u00a0wrapping paper to four side edges of stacked boxes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
